All About
Account Manager

Bringing Sites USA into the 21st century, it's designed to reduce renewal frustration for the most loyal users.

Once Upon A Time...

REGIS Online users would be reminded for months to remember to pay their annual subscription. Either by check or by card, over time, it became exhausting to chase down. So, an account manager with a payment portal was needed.

And fast.

The Goal:

"To stop putting stress on our most loyal customers"

Because our lowest usage licenses were being forced to send in their payment information every year, the "Power Users" were also being sent down this path.

With a dedicated account manager, users would be able to set up "auto-renewing" payments for their annual subscription, as well as other account tasks, such as adding or removing licenses, setting up email notifications, and viewing account documents.

Then, I Got Started

Because this project needed to be published before the end of the year, I had to start research and design quickly.

So, it's time to Research!

Because of the short timeline for this project, I would only be able to design a few of the features that would eventually live in the account manager portal.

Leadership Requirements:

• An Overview
• Payment Portal
• Account Information
• Email and Password Manager
• Invoice History
• Usage Report
• Cancel Subscription Option

Although there were several items that would have been beneficial for users, due to the short timeline, I narrowed them down to three:

New Requirements:

• Create an account portal separate from REGIS Online

• An option to cancel the annual subscription

• A place for users to enter payment information

Now, onto the Design!

Because the Account Manager needed to be separate from. REGIS Online, it needed it's own look - that still visually connected with the product.

Then, Make It Pretty!

Once a modular structure was approved in the low-fidelity designs, I began creating the smaller experiences that users would interact with, such as micro-copy for functionality.

 the final Account Manager design

Account Manager was released in November of 2023, a little over one month after beginning the project.

The Account Manager has been well-received by REGIS Online users, with 70% of users signing up to Auto-Renew their license! The Account Manager has also allowed for a better understanding of why users cancel through the survey, rather than being ghosted when looking for payment.
